| Lakeland Feeds Game Bird Waterfowl Maintenance is made for domestic and wild waterfowl, pheasant, quail and other game birds retained for breeding stock. This ration contains the amounts of vitamins, minerals, and protein to keep your flock in top condition, boosting immune function, promoting proper feathering, and maintaining skin health. Maintenance should be fed as the only ration beginning at 24 weeks, and continuing until 30 days prior to the breeding cycle. As the days lengthen, starting in January, birds will begin to lay eggs. They will continue to lay until the days are shorter than 14 hours. With artificial light to simulate this day-length, birds will lay year-round. Lakeland Feeds Game Bird/Waterfowl Breeder-Layer should be fed when birds are laying. Grit should be offered in a separate feeder. |
